After church this morning, we hit up Taco Bell for lunch, Taco Bell, is Tony and Troy's favorite. We got home and watched 'Marmaduke' together -which was very cute, the kids loved it! Then we all took a 2 hour nap. My mom came by on her way to the mall and offered to take the kids with her so that Tony and I could go on a date "or whatever"...
Perfect, just enough time for my handsome hubby and I to go on a date...
we actually stayed in ((wink, wink)),
we didn't even leave our room ((wink, wink)),
we stayed busy the whole time ((wink, wink))...
cleaning our room!!!
We had a much needed
cleaning date.
Our room was in desperate need of attention!
We have very high ceilings in our bedroom and our fan is far above my head, so our ceiling fan hasn't been dusted in a very very long time.
Our furniture in our room is extremely heavy big bulky wooden furniture... Tony loves it- it's very
manly- so it takes a man to move it - so that I can dust behind it... and that is just what we did.
Our room was so dusty, two trash bags and two vacuum filters and we have a clean room.
We even had time to change the air filters before the kids came back home. :)
It was a productive evening- I love that we can enjoy each others company even when we are sneezing in dust, climbing ladders, with vacuums and dust rags... we had a good evening together, it was nice being able to get this much needed work done.
Now to kick off the beginning of a busy busy week.
